We have Elk and Deer right in our yard. We also have snowshoes for rent. If there is enough snow in the Winter you can snowshoe from your room right into the National Park. Or you can bike to town ( 1 1/2 miles) year round. There are lots of hiking trails within very short distance from our house. You are renting a guestroom and bathroom. You are not renting the whole house. The guestroom has a private entry, with an en-suite bathroom. The bathroom has a shower and a bath tub. It also has a build-in Bluetooth speaker fan. There are 2 USB outlets next to both sides of the queen bed. Bedroom has a ceiling fan. Both the bathroom and bedroom have radiant floor heating for your comfort. Control is on the wall. The bedroom also has a 3 speed ceiling fan. Refrigerator, coffee and tea, microwave available Both Bedroom and Bathroom doors can lock for privacy. You are not renting the whole house. You are also free to use the backyard, with seating and outdoor dining table and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. The entry to our property is on Larkspur Rd. So when you are on High Drive, you turn right on Larkspur Rd. Then turn right on the first driveway on the right to turn into our property. Please park on the right side, in front of the guest room door. Backyard with seating area and stunning views of the Rocky Mountains is available for our guests. We will welcome you when you arrive and show you around. We also have lots of maps of the area and other National Parks that you can use. Let us know if you need information about hikes, busses etc. Also, Jan loves to play chess and ping pong. So when you have some extra time, let us know. He would love to play against you. We live in a very quiet neighbourhood, please respect the neighbours and their properties. Beaver Meadow visitor center: 1/2 mile Town of Estes: 1 1/2 mile Restaurants: 1/4 mile Country store; 1/4 mile Gas station: 1/4 mile We are 1/2 mile from the Beaver Meadow visitor center where you can catch the free shuttle (in the Summer) to get into the Park. Estes Park is a small town, everything is close. Lots of restaurants, shopping, and laundromat and country store are within 1/4 mile FYI . You are not renting the whole house. This listing is for guest bedroom and bathroom only. . PARKING • Parking is best in front of your room. CAR DOORS • Lock your car doors at all times, especially at night. • Do NOT leave any food/drinks etc. in your car. Wildlife can roam around in the area. FOOD • Please do NOT rinse food into the sink. • Store food and drinks in refrigerator DOORS • Make sure that all doors are locked when you leave. (return the key) LIGHTS • Turn off outside lights before you go to bed • Please turn off all lights and fan when you are not in the room. QUIET HOURS • If possible, keep noise down between the hours of 9:30 p.m. & 7 a.m., please respect other people’s rest. • No loud music please. No parties. OTHER GUESTS •. We do not allow other guests on the property. Only the 2 that have booked the room. CHECK OUT TIME • 10 a.m. WATER • Colorado is in a drought. Please conserve water as much as you can. SMOKING • No smoking allowed inside or outside on our property. No smoking outside either. That includes Marijuana!!! DRUG • Absolutely no drugs/mushrooms YARD • Feel free to use the backyard and enjoy the view. • Clean up all food from the outside, bring it inside. We don’t want to feed wildlife in Estes :-) SECURITY • We do have a RING doorbell with camera. • House has alarm system throughout
