The space To the coastpath' reads the sign that takes you to this charming Edwardian cottage. Imagine it strewn with fishing nets, buckets, spades, shells, sand and children – you'll be swept up by nostalgia for summers past as this seaside cottage, freshly painted in duck-egg blue and oyster white, comes into sight. You're steps from the beach and the south-facing porch makes the most of its view. Indoors, a cool seaside style flows – owner Annie has brought her childhood home back to Cornwall. It's a space drenched in natural light, with calming colours and tongue-and-groove panelling throughout. But it's the kitchen that's the real show stopper – French windows run its length, you get a marble topped island and all the best equipment. Bedrooms have great beds and views; the living room comes with walking maps, games and books galore. Tintangel's treasures wait: you can visit the site of King Arthur's table or Merlin's cave, or stretch out on the Strand and do nothing at all. The wondrously enticing garden deserves its own attention – and little people will fall in love with the summerhouse, tiny but perfectly formed. Bliss! Please note that summer weeks are also available, but the cottage is only available for weekly bookings (friday-friday) during that period. Guest access You will have full access to the cottage, garden and a direct footpath link to the clifftops during your stay as the owners do not live at the property. Why not enjoy a sundowner on the clifftop bench at the end of the day while you watch the sunset. Other things to note There is one beach 15 minute walk from the cottage (best at low tide) and Tintagel castle is a 15 minute walk in the opposite direction.
