Welcome to our secluded and private lower level apartment backing onto a forest. A deer family frequently visits the backyard. We strive to make guests feel at home with tasteful decor & thoughtful amenities. The suite is especially suited to business travelers & small families. Location is central, with 3, 6 & 8 min drives to the grocery store, Walmart and Ambassador bridge. * We are in Canada. You have a fully private floor to yourself, but this is not the full house—we live upstairs. The space Spacious open concept living area (approx.1300 sq.ft) with freshly painted crisp white walls. You'll have the whole floor to yourself, with a living area, a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, and a modern work area. Since our home is a raised ranch, the lower level basement suite has large windows with tons of natural lighting. After a long day at work or travel can kick back on the leather couches, have the fire place going and enjoy a movie on the 55in UHD 4K TV. You can stream HD latest movies and programming Stylishly furnished, with a calming Blue-Orange palette, the main bedroom has a queen sized bed, a closet, chest of drawers, and a view of the woods outside. The second bed area has a full size bed and is separated by a room divider from the living room area. An additional twin floor mattress and queen air mattress are also available. A full kitchen with Stainless Steel appliances is stocked with dinnerware, cookware, silverware and other utensils for your convenience. We stock complimentary tea, and a Nespresso machine with coffee. Private bathroom stocked with thoughtful amenities should make you feel at home. Fresh towels are provided. If you need to work from home there is a modern office with a desk and table lamp available. The home has high-speed internet available with ~150 Mb/sec bandwidth with 2.4G minimum and 5G connection for 5G enabled devices. Samsung washer & dryer in laundry room with detergent. An ironing board with iron is available- just ask us ahead of time, and we will provide it. Outside there is a patio with a table and two chairs overlooking the forest. Evenings are great to listen to the chirping birds, watching the clouds roll along in the sky while enjoying a book with a cup of tea! Important Considerations Before Booking: Our suite is a beautiful, family-friendly space in the lower level of our raised ranch home. While we take care to maintain a peaceful environment, sound does travel between floors, and walls are not soundproof. We live upstairs with our children, so please be mindful of noise levels. This is not a honeymoon suite or a party space—we warmly welcome families, professionals, and guests visiting for work or events. If you’re looking for an ultra-private or soundproof stay, we kindly encourage you to explore other accommodations that better suit your needs. Guest access You will be able to access the suite's separate entrance from the back of the house. Initial access to the suite will be granted upon your arrival. Your convenient keypad code will be provided for the duration of your stay. You have a completely private space to yourself. Other things to note Important Information for Your Stay 📍 Location: We are in Canada. 🗑️ Waste Disposal: Use bins provided; for longer stays, place garbage in herby curby bins in the yard. 🌬️ Climate Control: Two fans and a fireplace are available—please turn them off when not in use. Kitchen exhaust can stay on longer if needed. 🔊 Noise Awareness: This is a residential home, not a soundproofed hotel. Sound travels, so this is not ideal for a romantic getaway. 🚭 Strict No-Smoking/Vaping Policy: ❌ No vaping indoors—the smell travels through vents. ❌ No smoking or candles inside. Fines:$200-$500 🐾 No Pets Allowed. 📹 Security: One outdoor security camera is in place; no recording devices inside. 👶 Families with Children: Welcome, but note that the unit is not childproof.
