House with a pool

This restored sheepfold from 1782 is a haven of peace and serenity (6 hectares of land, 3 km from the 1st neighbor) with a magnificent 360° view of vineyards, bucolic hills and the Château d'Aguilar. It has a large swimming pool (5 x 8 m) and the beaches are only 45 minutes away (including Gruissan where 37.2 was filmed in the morning) The surroundings are full of excursions: the Cathar castles, the medieval village of Lagrasse, the Abbey of Fontfroide, the Wine Route, the Gorges du Galamus... The space The sheepfold is composed of 3 parts. A main building (living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom), 1 small house 10 m away (bedroom) and a 4th bedroom accessible from the back with a separate shower cubicle and toilet. The terrace in front of the house offers an exceptional 360° view (and without any neighbors for several kilometers around), it has a large table and a plancha, in short an idyllic place for aperitifs with friends at sunset. The swimming pool is located in front of the house (accessible by a small staircase). The sheepfold, although in the middle of nature, is within walking distance of Paziols (3 km), a charming village (that Claude Nougaro chose to finish his days) and 4 km from Tuchan, which has all the amenities you need for your stay (supermarket, village café, wine cellars, medical center...) Everything is both well equipped but rustic and authentic (fans of soulless and IKEA furnished accommodation, go your way ;-) Guest access The sheepfold is offered in its entirety + the 2 independent bedrooms of the main building (perfect for several couples) Other things to note It is a family home without frills but with a great tradition of conviviality and beautiful positive vibes.
