Dog friendly, detached, countryside cottage

EllinghamCottages welcome you to Farley Cottage: a gorgeous, detached, two bedroomed cottage. It's in the quiet Northumbrian village of Ellingham, has a log burner, enclosed south facing garden and has everything you need for a comfortable holiday. It's fully equipped for self-catering and is within a minute's walk of a great pub if you don't fancy cooking. It's ideally situated for exploring the area and is a short drive to several great beaches the market town of Alnwick The space EllinghamCottages would love to welcome you to our holiday home, Farley Cottage. We spent over a year bringing this tired old cottage back to life so that it's now a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. It's a detached, stone cottage that sleeps 4 in two bedrooms, one of which is ensuite, in addition to the family shower room. The master bedroom has a kingsize bed and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has two full size single beds. Downstairs there's a spacious sitting room with two sofas that can comfortably seat everyone, and kitchen diner, south facing sun room, utility room and boot room. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering with induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There's lots of books, toys and games to keep everyone happy and when all else fails we've got unlimited broadband so you can check out all the fab places to visit locally. Outside there's a private, south facing, fully enclosed garden (6ft high walls and fences) with barbecue area and gazebo complete with patio furniture. To the side of the cottage there's off-road parking for two cars. Farley is located in the quiet Northumbrian village of Ellingham, about 8 miles north of Alnwick and 5 miles inland form the gorgeous beach of Beadnell Bay. It is ideally located for exploring Northumberland. We love staying there with our dog Pebble and hope you will too. Guest access You will have exclusive access to Farley Cottage and its garden, plus there's off-road parking on the drive at the side. Other things to note Farley Cottage is situated in a quiet, peaceful village and we ask that you respect this and our neighbours, many of whom are elderly. Our changeover days are Monday and Friday. Outside of peak periods we may consider other changeover days, so please ask. We supply the first basket of logs for the log burner. Details of where to buy additional logs is included in our welcome information. We are happy to welcome up to four dogs at Farley, and more by arrangement. Due to a few unfortunate incidents, dogs are not allowed upstairs.
