Country house in Byron hills

Our house is close to Bangalow and 20 minutes from the beach at Byron Bay and Lennox Head. Great views across the hills. You’ll love our place because of the quiet location, the facilities for families or keen cooks, and the outdoor areas. Also the donkeys, chickens and our friendly cat! Our place is good for couples, friends and families (with kids). We have just completely renovated our pool and now it's a fabulous natural pool with a gazebo - no chemicals -more like swimming in a waterhole! The space In the main house there are 5 bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen, dining room and lounge area. Two large verandahs, one with lots of seating and a big table. There is also an outdoor fireplace on this verandah. The other has the barbecue and is off the dining room. The main bedroom has an ensuite, the others share the family bathroom and there is an additional toilet. Downstairs is the laundry and garden/pool access. Guest access There is room for 2 cars in the car port and more on the verge. We live 870 metres up a quiet country road. You'll definitely need a car to get around. This is a quiet neighbourhood so late night parties are out of the question! There are quite a few steps/changes in level and the garden is sloped so not suitable for disabled access. Other things to note Because this is our home, when we go away the pets stay! The 2 donkeys will be looked after by a helper who comes in once a week. The chickens and Tiger the cat will need some care from you. We leave full instructions, all the food etc and we think you'll find its all part of the Nashua experience!
