The Stewart House

Welcome to our family home, designed & built by Dr E R Stewart in 1911, & owned by 4th gen Stewarts, great-grandson Jon, and wife, Mary. The Stewart House, conveniently located, is in easy walking of distance of historical downtown Blair. Nearby attractions: Loess Hills, Desoto National Wildlife Refuge, Ft. Atkinson, Wash. Co. Museum, College World Series, Old Market, Henry Doorly Zoo, Lauritzen Gardens, & Buffet's Meetings! The space Individuals, couples, or groups can easily be accommodated in this family home, which has two large sitting rooms. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the entrances do have stair entries. Guest access The fully outfitted kitchen is available to all guests. There is a 3 season large front porch to relax and visit. Other things to note Blair's new Public Library & Technology Center, has great tech offerings, an active genealogy research group. Also, located on Washington street is the internationally known, Danish American Archive & Library. Blair and the surrounding area has many local antique/art, wine tasting, restaurants, and recreational options.
