Plovers Rest at Cape Douglas

Cape Douglas is located approximately 12km from Port MacDonnell and 35km from Mount Gambier. Longer stays can be negotiated. Best suited for a couple. The space Plovers Rest is a fully equipped, eco-friendly home. The beach is accessible from a path across the road. Plovers Rest is situated where the coast meets rural farm land, with beautiful views of grazing pasture from the back of the home. The Douglas Point Conservation Park is nearby and offers breathtaking views of the coast. Featuring exposed limestone, small sandy beaches and dense coastal vegetation, it makes for fantastic walking.   Be sure to keep an eye out for the beach nesting Hooded Plover's, which Plover's Rest is named after. Other things to note The house is unfenced and unsuitable for pets. No pets allowed.
