Think farm,trees,flowers-as well as glamping and treehouse accommodation. Turning into our expansive carpark,you will see our classic wooden Javanese family home. The private glamping area, framed by views of Merbabu, Gunung Gajah and Telomoyo mountains, is beyond, with the treehouse area (3 properties for rent) 5mins walk in the valley beyond. Managed by the owners in residence and neighbours,only local Javanese recipes,(primarily homegrown and organic,full of regionl herbs and spices). The focus is on authentic nature experiences, privacy and relaxation. We have a telephone tower on the property (till 2026). Sitinggil is located between Salatiga and Ambarawa, in a bustling, vibrant rural village. As well as sounds of nature, you will certainly hear calls to prayer, and some traffic, and maybe other village activities occasionally. Our restaurant is closed but there are many warung options in our immediate area and of course restaurants in Salatiga. There is a local market 250mtrs away, morning till midday. Guests must pre-book meals or eat out. No food deliveries, takeaways or cooking is permitted (other than snacks) to avoid wild cats, vermin, bugs etc. Our village is exceptionally safe but we still advise against bringing many valuables.
