My artistically designed mini-villa is located on Summerland's top street, boasting both ocean and mountain views. A unique, relaxing place to unwind from the hustle and bustle, while still minutes away from all the local hot spots. The property is split into two living quarters both with private entrances. All outdoor space is for the guests to enjoy! Summerland is about twelve minutes from downtown Santa Barbara. and only one/two miles from neighbouring Montecito! It is a charming village with easy beach access and enchanting views. You will love the serenity and peacefulness. it is a very very quiet neighbourhood. The night sky is amazing here. I have two yards; one in the front facing the ocean, that has a little lawn and garden and a back yard facing the mountain range and rolling hills, where the pool is located. The bedroom is upstairs with a balcony facing the ocean, excellent spot for sunsets. I do not allow music outside; on the pool patio decks or on bedroom balcony where noise travels very far; as my neighbours are working from home and although the views are expansive, my neighbours are very close by. (inside with the doors closed is ok!!!) The kitchen has the basics for cooking; olive oil, basic spices, butter and of course coffee beans and teas. The fridge has basic drinks available too. There are beach towels for beach goers! The pool is not heated, but is warm enough half of the year. (the Jacuzzi is not operating) Guests bringing dogs may not leave them in the house unattended, (unless arrangements have been made ) i can give you the names of doggie day care places near by. Guests will have privacy in both of the yards, front ocean and back mountain view. with private entrance Key to front door. parking is on private driveway. My apartment has a separate entrance, but it is the same house, at the back, which will give you complete privacy. on Mondays, if your stay over laps a Monday, in the morning around 10:00 ish i have a pool guy come to clean the pool. he will enter through the side gate and clean the pool. he will not bother guests, he usually is here for 15-20 mins. On every other Tuesday, i have gardeners. They arrive at 11:40 and leave at 1:30 roughly two hours, which are timed to when guests would be out seeing the sights or having lunch....IF you are guests that do not want to leave the property at all, and we have many of them, then just make sure you reserve date that doesn't include Tuesday! :) The Beach is a short walk away. There is a local coffee house; the RED KETTLE on Lillie Ave, the main drag in Summerland. A very chic eatery called FIELD AND FORTE is both a restaurant; outside tables facing the ocean, excellent menu with take out and also is a home decor shopping boutique. Summerland is widely-known for its many antique shops. PORCH is one of Southern Californias hippest garden and home shops is now in Summerland, along with THE WELL a very exciting interior exterior design haven with multiple showrooms filled with wares for sale. The Summerland Beach Cafe is also a very popular breakfast spot. The Nugget is a local favourite for lunch, dinner and drinks. Summerland also boasts its own Winery on the main street here, a lovely bar and outside patio with knowledgable stewards And in Montecito, all along coast Village road there are many restaurants, OLIVERS is a great Vegan restaurant with indoor outdoor dining, LUCKYS; California cuisine; is a very hot spot to dine, and BETTINNAS is a gourmet pizza place with a beautiful out door patio, with RORIS hand made ice cream next door; all close to the beach along with many other restaurants along coast village road. There is the new "Rosewood at Miramar" hotel, one mile north of Summerland that has a few restaurants, cafes and bars, live music and is right on the beach. spectacular views and shops within. At the house i have lists of places in Montecito and Summerland. You can park in the private driveway. There is bus service down the hill but Summerland is difficult without a car unless you are using a service like Uber or Lyft.
