And to make it convenient, if you are travelling by car, the home has two dedicated parking spaces just a minute walk away. The space You'll have a wonderful stay in this beautiful boutique style fully furnished 3-bed / 2-bath sumptuous apartment with wifi in the heart of Lymington (New Forest) (SO41 9EP). It's a beautifully designed, very appealing light and bright contemporary apartment in excellent condition with a beautiful outside terrace with table and chairs. The location is unbeatable! With its perfect position overlooking Lymington High Street, it offers convenience, high standards of living and comfort. The owner, an interior designer, offers an extremely well-presented property in neutral colours with an elegant and attractive style. The attention to detail makes the apartment a real pleasure to come home to. Every room is a delight. There's free access to Now TV in every room (online film service) - perfect for an evening unwind. IMMEDIATE AREA A good range of shops and a large choice of restaurants and bars are a step away. Several supermarkets are on hand (including a Tescos, Marks and Spencers Food Hall, and Waitrose). The Georgian market town of Lymington is set on the coast in the beautiful New Forest National Park, between Southampton and Bournemouth. Famous for its sailing history, there are two large marinas filled with fishing boats and yachts, as well as two sailing clubs. The town’s narrow streets are lined with pretty period cottages and houses, as well as plenty of local pubs and restaurants. Lymington High Street has several independent shops and designer boutiques, as well as a local market held each Saturday which dates back to the 13th century. At the bottom of the High Street, a cobbled road leads down to the Old Town Quay, which is still used by a number of commercial fishing boats. There is often a chance to buy fresh fish on the waterfront. From here you can take a stroll along the waters edge and soak up the atmosphere of this renowned sailing resort. The New Forest national park offers a huge range of leisure activities such as walking, horse riding, water sports (including kayaking, canoeing and sailing both sea and inland), archery and golf. We provide everything you'll need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. There is free unlimited wifi access. LOCATION AND AMENITIES: Our apartment provides a great opportunity to stay in a unique, desirable and attractive property in the best part of Lymington. It offers all the convenience of the lively High Street yet it does not suffer from noise issues. The harbour is a five minute walk away. Parks, an open air swimming pool and leisure centre are located close by. The location gives easy access to the delightful towns and villages of The New Forest. Brockenhurst train station (direct line to Waterloo) is one stop from Lymington Town Station. Central London can be reached by car in 1.5 hours. A regular bus service connects Lymington to surrounding towns. Bournemouth with its huge stretch of golden sand beaches is a 45 minute drive. The Isle of Wight is an easy day trip direct on the ferry from Lymington (either as a car or foot passenger). LOCAL ACTIVITIES: Here's a taster of the many attractions in the area: Lymington Sea Water Baths: sea water baths open daily to swimmers from May to September. Children's paddling pool and sandpit also available Kayaking: kayaks can be hired from the harbour (a 5 minute walk) Yarmouth Castle (4 miles away): take a ferry trip from Lymington across to the Isle of Wight and see the remains of a C16th coastal fort as well as a wonderful picnic spot, historic Yarmouth exhibition and a C16th shipwreck Sammy Miller Motorcycle Museum (New Milton, 5 miles away). This spectacular motorcycle museum houses over 350 rare and classic motorcycles, many being the only remaining examples in the world Breamore Manor House Countryside Museum (near Fordingbridge) with its children's maze and attractions for all the family Exbury Gardens (outside Beaulieu): home to a large beautiful garden and steam railway. There are over 20 miles of pathways, three woods and parkland to explore, and surprises lying await behind every corner. There is something to see all year round Beaulieu National Motor Museum and Beaulieu Abbey and Beaulieu Palace House (7 miles away): this great family day out heart of the New Forest attraction has something for everyone. Enjoy 250 vehicles in the motor museum, a wealth of history in the Palace house and unlimited rides on the monorail Bolderwood Deer Sanctuary (10 miles away): with its purpose built viewing platform overlooking a large meadow area where a herd of fallow deer regularly gather Burley Deer Park Safari: tractor and trailer rides to see Red Deer in the village of Burley Puffin Cruises: offer ferry rides and cruises from Lymington Quay. The best trip is an exhilarating surge across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, where the Needles lighthouse and towering chalk stacks loom from the water. They also do a two-hour sunset cruise in high summer Rockburne Roman Villa (outside Fordingbridge): remains of the largest Roman Villa in the area Buckler's Hard (outside Beaulieu): a private maritime 18th ship building village.
