In a beautiful rural location, with truly superb views, our 4* stone cottage is situated high above the Conwy Valley in the heart of Eryri. The stunning Llyn Geirionydd is an easy 10 minute stroll from your door, and the easy access to biking, hiking and watersports makes our location ideal for adventurers. Or instead relax in front of the fire, or in your own enclosed patio and garden overlooking a stream. Conveniently located for Betws, Conwy and LLandudno. 2 pets welcome for a small fee. The space This lovely cottage has been renovated to a high standard, yet keeps many original features such as the wooden beams, Aga and fireplace. Main entrance opens onto living room with modern, comfortable furniture, smart TV and woodburning stove. Trundle bed or airbed can be provided on request. Please let us know if required when booking. A single bedroom and modern bathroom with large shower lead from this room. The spacious kitchen/diner opens onto a large patio with garden furniture and barbecue. Stairs lead from this room up to 2 double bedrooms. The house is centrally heated by oil with constant hot water. There is sheltered space outside under the large porch to lock bikes, leave muddy wellies, wet coats and wetsuits. An outside hose is available to wash down equipment (and muddy dogs!) as required. Guest access Our cottage is set in 12 acres of meadow and woodland. You can access hiking and biking trails from the door and Llyn Geirionydd, where you can swim or kayak, is just a short stroll. Llyn Crafnant is a longer walk or short drive away. Plenty of free parking close to the property is available. Other things to note Important- the property is accessed by a steep single track road with passing places. You may need to reverse to allow oncoming traffic past. The property is in a rural location and you will need a car to access us. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please get in touch before booking. 2nd double bedroom is a low bed tucked under the eaves with slightly limited head space. Up to 2 pets welcome and we charge £25 per pet. Please let us know when booking if you plan to bring a pet. Please note that this is a smallholding and we have a friendly, gentle dog wandering free on the property. We also have a number of chickens and ducks freely wandering the grounds. Aga for decoration only and is no longer lit. There is now central heating, an electric hob and oven.
