Wake Up to Breathtaking Tuscan Views — Spacious Village Duplex
Description
Imagine waking up to rolling Tuscan hills, stepping onto your private terrace with a cup of coffee, and realizing you have nowhere else to be. No crowds, no tour buses—just church bells, the fragrance of home‑cooked food, and the peaceful rhythm of an authentic hilltop village. This 14th‑century stone duplex in Radicondoli sits at the heart of a real working village—not a tourist set piece—and puts you within easy reach of Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, and the Chianti wine region. The space The duplex is spread across two levels of a beautifully restored medieval building. Fourteenth‑century stone archways, hand‑hewn beams, and terracotta floors set the tone, the moment you walk in—but everything you actually need for comfort is right here, too. Three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a kitchen built around a marble island and working fireplace, and a terrace with valley views that stop you mid‑sentence. The romantic lower suite has an old wrought‑iron bed, antique furnishings, and a valley view that you’ll want to wake up to every morning. Upstairs, a bright loft‑like bedroom with a central skylight opens to the living room and that terrace you’ll keep gravitating toward. A quieter third bedroom on the lower floor—with a full/queen sofa bed—works beautifully as a reading nook, a remote workspace, or a private retreat when someone in your group just needs a bit of quiet. You’ll find a full fridge/freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, electric kettle, coffee maker, plenty of dinnerware and glassware, and all the utensils you need to cook meals worth lingering over. A traditional dining table seats six to eight comfortably, and there are cozy living areas on both levels—perfect for that post‑dinner glass of local wine. Whether you’re here as a couple craving a slow‑paced escape, a small family exploring Tuscany, or a creative soul looking for inspiration between day trips, this is the kind of place where you settle in and forget to check the time. It’s also ideal for two couples traveling together, a couple with children, or up to five adults who like their own space. The open‑plan kitchen centers around a large marble island and a working fireplace with firewood for grilling. We want you to feel at home from the moment you arrive. Fragrant local herbs greet you at the door. The basics are stocked—laundry soap, shampoo, paper products, olive oil—so you don’t have to rush to a shop. Fast fiber‑optic Wi‑Fi keeps you connected (or lets you stream something Italian on the sofa). You’ll also have a washing machine, iron and board, hair dryer, fresh linens, and towels. Our greeter Karin—who also works at the local Tourist Office—will welcome you personally with restaurant tips, day‑trip ideas, and the kind of hidden gems you’d never find on your own. A baby crib is available on request. Guest access You are welcome to enjoy the entire space in comfort and privacy. Every room, every terrace view, every corner of the kitchen—it’s all yours. Other things to note After you drop your luggage at the door, you can drive one block down the street to a large parking lot where you can safely and conveniently park your vehicle for free. During the summer, the village comes alive in the evenings—socializing in the streets, a big Happy Hour set up in the middle of the main piazza, and occasional free musical events right outside your door. Due to its historic medieval architecture, the property is not wheelchair accessible. There are stairs between the two levels of the duplex.
