Ayers Burra - Historical 1851 Cottage

Originally a copper miner's cottage, it was dedicated to Sir Henry Ayers, the famed Chairman of the South Australian Mining Association who owned the extensive copper mine. He was also Premier of South Australia, and they named a notable landmark after him as well! The space The Cottage is great for a romantic couple getaway or for 2 couples wanting quaint accommodation to explore the historic town of Burra. The lounge room has a flat screen TV and DVD and a great slow combustion log fire. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a separate dining room with a bookcase full of old books.
