A Farmhouse all to yourself in West Glover! The Farmhouse is set on a very quiet and picturesque country road between the Main House and Andersonville Farm in the beautiful Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. The space The Farmhouse in Andersonville is part of Ledgenear Farm. It was built in the 1800's, but has been updated to modern comforts. It sits between Ledgenear's main house and Andersonville Farm where cows are raised and milked to make world class cheese. Guest access Guests have access to the land behind the house in all seasons: for summer picnicking and winter sledding! Local veggies, meat, and dairy can be provided- per your request for an additional charge. The Farmhouse is surrounded by dirt roads that are excellent for walking and mountain biking. You are welcome to a tour of the farm! Just let us know and we can arrange a time to share it with you. Sundays are the best day to see the farm! A note for those with young children: The house is equipped with a pack-n-play (not a full size crib), a high chair (1) double chariot stroller , (1) radio wagon and some toddler books and toys for your use! A note about Season Highlights! In Spring: March/April: We sugar and you are welcome to visit us at the sugarhouse. We can not predict exactly when sugaring will take place - but if you are lucky you might be able to join us. In Summer: Plenty of lakes for swimming, mts. for hiking, farm tours, county fairs, etc! In Fall: The foliage colors are amazing in Vermont! In Winter: We are about 2 minutes away from the access to the VAST trails . Cross country skiing is about 10 minutes away and down hill skiing is 35-40 minutes away.
