The apartment is located in the very center of Old Town, in a quiet inner yard of a medieval building called Ulrich Hozijus house, built in 1521. It was recently renovated with a lot of attention to authenticity and lighting. The apartment contains all modern facilities that you might expect. You will find plenty of bars and restaurants around. There are about 40 churches in Vilnius, and you will be looking at one of them through your room window. Welcome to the beautiful Baroque city Vilnius! The space There is a couple of supermarkets nearby in case you prefer self-cattering, and yet another big one with really large selection a bit further away. You can also try a local market witch is just 1 km from the house. Vilnius center is quite compact with most turist attractions being within walking distance. I will advise you in case you want to take a longer journey. Guest access Distances and transportation: Airport – 6 km. There is a direct public bus 88 that will take you to Trakų stop. Then walk 350 m to me. There is a direct public bus that will take you from the airport right to the railway / bus stations. Ticket price is ~1 EUR. Railway and bus stations (separate buildings in the same square) –1.4 km, you can either walk from there right to the apartment or take a couple of stops by trolleybus 1,2,or 7. This is also the starting point for trips to Trakai, the old capital of Lithuania. Taxi is relatively cheap in Vilnius but beware of scam in case you take it in the street. Arriving is easy regardles of your means of transportation. There is a parking place in the yard for your car. Taxi will drive you right to the building. Public transport stops some 10 minutes’ walk from the house. The apartment is located in the inner yard on the first floor of the building. Note that there are 15 steps to take with no lift. Just ask for my assistance in case you face any issues.
