4 Chapel Mews is our cosy holiday cottage set in the small parish of St Columb Minor, Newquay. Ideally located for Newquay as a base to discover the whole of Cornwall. The cottage has two bedrooms and spacious open plan living area with a sofa bed. Porth Beach is only a 3 minute drive or a pleasant 18 minute walk along the footpath. Situated only 1.25 mile from Newquay town centre. All bars, restaurants and beaches are within easy reach We welcome small-medium size dogs Parking for two cars. The space Chapel Mews is a quaint, attractive, cosy wrap around/ upside down cottage. The original chapel dates back to 1880, lovingly converted to create this charming cottage. Far reaching views from the lounge & kitchen velux windows & ample parking for two cars alongside the cottage. Directly behind the cottage is a huge, open, play park equipped with lots of play equipment for young children and dog walking area & an extra free parking area. Chapel Mews has an outside, courtyard area to the front of the cottage. Fully secured, private, comfortable space with solar lighting. Outdoor seating and a table, so you can enjoy a glass of wine on a warm summer's evening! The cottage is set within the traditional, welcoming village of St Columb Minor. A welcoming, family, dog friendly Pub, serving a wide range of drinks & quality, affordable food. A CO-OP shop 1 min walk, a Chinese take-away, Post Office, hairdressers, garage etc all within a 4 minute walk. A 2 min walk to the bus stop, running buses 4 times per hour into Newquay. Our local bus stop is called The Shop Corner, the service will drop you at the Railway or Bus Station, so covering both ends of Newquay town. A gentle walk through the village, leads you along a footpath, down to Porth Beach, taking approx 18 mins. Please note, this is downhill stroll to the beach, which means an up hill walk back to the village. Alternatively, you can drive to Porth Beach in 3 mins. Ample paid parking opposite the Mermaid Pub. Or out of season you can park on the beach for free! Several other popular beaches (Towan, Fistral etc) are within a 10-12 min drive in the car. Other things to note During peak season, minimum of 7 nights stay.
