Fully fitted kitchen , with oven , fridge freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, cooking utensils etc as well as dishwasher. Also basics provided such as tea coffee, salt and pepper and oil. Tastefully decorated to create a home from home relaxing atmosphere, with luxury bedding and soft furnishings. All towels and bedding will be provided. Two large bedrooms, with oak beams, one can be made into two twins if preferred, just ask on booking for the twin option. Plenty of storage and hanging space. Free WiFi on site lounge has two comfy sofas to relax in after a day exploring, smart TV and stunning bespoke table for enjoying all the delicious food the Eden valley offers. Shower room with tiled floor and power rainfall shower, and a downstairs cloak room. Full central heating system and lots of hot water. Enclosed private patio area with outdoor-seating for you to relax in, a real suntrap. we do love dogs abd are very welcome at joiners cottage, there is a charge of £30 per stay, payable on site or through airbnb please Please keep pets downstairs. All of downstairs is tiled, with the stairs and upstairs carpeted. please no smoking in the property and no parties. There is no parking on site, but there is street parking which is free overnight and Sundays. during the day penrith town centre operates a disc zone where you get free parking for an hour. You can move to another bay to get another hour free etc.Most people are out and about during the day so works well. There is a pay and display carpark opposite which is an option for you and is £6 per day. Lots of lovely places to eat and drink within easy walking distance and a great base to explore the northern lakes and the beautiful Eden Valley, Ullswater is 15 minute drive away. Keswick 20mins. Penrith is a great town with lots goung on. Check out whats on in Penrith for events in the town the cottage is located down a traditional yard, which used to have a blacksmiths shop and a joiners workshop amongst other cottages. very quiet and peaceful as tucked away, but once you come our of the yard, you are right in the town , just near to St Andrews churchyard and all it has to offer. it's a remarkable location as it's so quiet, no traffic noise etc but very handy for town centre. bus station 2 mins away, train station 5 mins. a fantastic base to explore the stunning lakes and Eden valley, ideal for walkers, golfers, climbers and cyclists. you can hire bikes from Arragons. Guests are recommending the lounge bar and xaviers for cocktails and tapas Spanish bar is good and the Dockray Hall is good for food and fell bar for traditional ale. plenty of walks around. Too many to list but if interior can give you some suggestions, just ask Guest access Access to the whole cottage and small enc courtyard with seating Other things to note No parking on site, but street parking is available, or pay parking opposite. Joiners cottage is a new refurbished cottage, in the town, but tucked away down a little yard. Perfect for a base exploring the area and so convenient for eating out etc, but very quiet and peaceful. centrally located in the heart of penrith. a great little cottage
