Little Red Homestead is a bed and breakfast styled, peaceful getaway with multiple units. While each unit is private, we have 3 separate rentals on the property. If you are looking for more of a staycation and love to lounge, we recommend checking out our listing for "The Den" as it provides you with a living area and more space to relax in. While our Burrow and Den units are separate, they connect by a door that locks from both sides to ensure privacy. Since they do share an adjoining wall, we ask our guests to respect their noise levels or rent the entire space for larger/louder gatherings. We want you to feel relaxed and at ease during your stay, so please let us know what we can do to help accommodate you! ★ PLEASE NOTE ★ Our community spaces are public SHARED spaces, they are available for all of the guests staying at Little Red Homestead to use. Due to snow, some of our amenities are seasonal and only available in non-winter months. You will have access to all of the community space amenities including: ✔ Hot tub - open YEAR ROUND ✔ Fire pit area - open SEASONALLY ✔ Swing set/yard games area - open SEASONALLY ✔ Garden dining area - open SEASONALLY We try to stop by shortly after your arrival to welcome you in and to see if you have any questions. After the initial meeting, we are available only as requested. We are available to our guests at all times, but our phones go on silent mode through the night while we are asleep and will be unable to answer until the morning. You will find that Lake Ann is centrally located for whichever type of northern Michigan vacation you choose to have! Lake Ann itself has a charming downtown and neighbors Interlochen, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Traverse City, where you can find even more dining and entertainment venues. - PARKING: free on property with a total of 5 spaces for 3 units, so please try to consolidate vehicles when possible. - PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Uber & Lyft are available but scarce, scheduled ahead private driving services/taxi's are available. ★ ADDITIONAL ACCOMMODATION ★ Traveling in a larger group, or your preferred dates are already taken? Due to having multiple units available on the property, we may be able to find a way to make things work - inquire with us further! ★ CANCELLATIONS ★ Please understand that our cancellation policy is set to strict. The only way to cancel and receive a full refund is to do so within 48 hours of booking and to have at least 7 days left until your reservation. If there is an extenuating circumstance, you are able to discuss with Airbnb and they will review your claim. Otherwise, all other cancellations will be treated the same as explained by Airbnb policy - no exceptions. ★ CHECK IN/CHECK OUT ★ We can not accommodate early check ins and late check outs. We allow for same day check ins and check outs, and therefore need the entire time between guests to reset units. Check in is strictly at 4pm or later and check out is at 11am or before. ★ ONLY REGISTERED GUESTS ★ No additional visitors at any time, other than the guests accounted for in your reservation. We do have actively recording exterior security cameras monitoring the parking area at all times to ensure that the number of guests on your reservation is accurate. ★ QUIET HOURS ★ For the enjoyment of everyone, we ask that quiet hours are from 11pm - 9am, daily. This includes the community space areas such as the hot tub, fire pit & gardens. It does not mean you need to be inside at this time, it just means to use reasonable levels of volume. ★ NO PETS ALLOWED ★ As much as we love all things with tails, we are unable to accommodate them. We ask that the pets stay at home or at a nearby boarding facility. ★ NO INFANTS ★ Due to the set up of our property, our units are not suitable for infants (ages 2 and under) due to the risk of noise disturbances. ★ NO SMOKING ★ Our entire property is non-smoking. Any smoking evidence will result in odor removal and furniture cleaning fees. ★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★ We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. ★ BE RESPECTFUL ★ Please understand that while your personal unit is completely private, that this property hosts other guests, meaning you will likely have neighbors. You by no means need to interact with your neighbors, but this is a space that requires you to co-exist, respectfully. Also, please note that our rates, policies, and maximum guest occupancies are non-negotiable. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
