Altvaid, Harlosh is a three bedroom traditional croft house with stunning views of MacLeods Tables on the west of the Isle of Skye. There is a cosy lounge with log fire, a well appointed kitchen, family bathroom and a double room on the ground floor. Upstairs there is a double bedroom and a twin room. It is a short drive from the village of Dunvean where there are plenty of opportunities for sea kayaking, fishing, hill walking and visiting historical sites such as Dunvegan Castle. The space The front door has a porch, perfect for removing boots and wet jackets. The lounge is light and bright and has sofa and two armchairs to recline on. The TV has Freeview and there is a DVD player and X-box 360 for evening entertainment! WiFi is available as well as Chromecast which links computers and phones to the TV via the WiFi. The log fire is the perfect accompaniment for chilly evenings. There is a well appointed kitchen with double oven/grill, electric hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer / dryer. The dining table has seating for 6 people. The family bathroom has a separate shower and bath, W.C. and wash hand basin. The master double room is on the ground floor and has views over the garden to the front of the holiday cottage. There is ample storage space for clothes. Upstairs there is a second double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with plenty of storage and views over the front garden towards MacLeods Tables. There is off street parking for two vehicles. Important Information: Families are welcome at this property. Cot and high chair available: Please bring your own linen for the cot. Up to 2 dogs are welcome at the cottage by request. There is a £30 per pet per week pet fee applicable. Additional charges will only occur for breakages or any additional cleaning. It would be appreciated if the cottage was left in the same order as you found it. Many thanks! Whilst we hope that none of our guests experience issues during their stay, we do need to point out that due to the cottage's location on the Isle of Skye, some services can be tempermental and can take a lengthy delay to get resolved. Internet speed can be very slow and the service can fluctuate during the day and week. Mobile phone signal is very patchy on the Isle of Skye. Also, to replace any broken appliances, it can take weeks for a delivery to happen. We will at all times try our hardest to rectify any issues but please bear with us as there can be issues due to location that are outwith our control. Cottage directions and key information are emailed approximately 14 days in advance of the arrival date. Guest access Guests get access to the whole cottage.
