Cwm yr Wrach, our lovely traditional slate-floored Grade 2-listed early 19th cottage is a little off-the road - and close to Snowdon itself. From Nant Peris Park & Ride parking, it's a <10 minute walk and carry. Perfect for walking, climbing, cycling, writing, painting, or simply being off the beaten track. Wood fires (fuel provided) and sheets, towels &c. Fully-equipped kitchen. Cycle storage. The Vaynol Arms is 5 minutes walk. Llanberis: about 5 miles. The space Cwm yr Wrach, our much-loved cottage is a 5-10 minute walk from parking (Cae Gwyn Campsite) in Nant Peris. A splendid, isolated and secluded base.. Once a climbers' hut, then a cottage belonging to the well-known mountaineer Ian McNaught-Davis, Cwm y Wrach is now our retreat in the Snowdonia National Park. We love it....and we rent it out when we're not there, to encourage people to enjoy the area. A cosy well-appointed kitchen, separate dining room, electric hob and ovens, separate sitting room; solid fuel fires. Slate floors. Electric shower and bath in ground floor bathroom/loo; upstairs loo/basin. Three storage heaters, and fan heater. One main bedroom (double bed) and two rooms with twin beds. Electric blankets throughout. Adjacent utility room with washing machine and tumble drier, garden tools &c. Fuel is provided (solid fuel, wood, firelighters, kindling).
