'Nikunj' _the home stay

"Nikunj" meaning "a bird's nest" is situated in village Zolambe, the place amidst evergreen mountains of the Western Ghats of India. It is a perfect blend of natural beauty & local culture with basic necessary amenities for the guests. The space The Guest Room, accommodating 5 people, is on the first floor (20-22 steps) of the house. The entry is through the house, however it is taken care of that guests will not be bothered by owners or outsiders. Guest access Guests can access common living room on ground floor. They can also access common toilet & bathroom downstairs. Also they are free to enjoy on swings and in open terrace or front porch area of the house. During your stay The basic idea behind starting Nikunj was - starting a Home Stay. Therefore we advocate a friendly & homely interaction between guests & the hosts, of course keeping in mind the privacy of guests. The motive is to make guests understand & know the local lifestyle & culture in this area. Other things to note The place is a cut out from city life. It is rich in biodiversity & natural beauty. We advocate principles of Sustainable Tourism and are focused on conservation of natural resources of the area. We try our level best to balance between tourism or development & nature conservation. We expect our guests to cooperate with us too.
