'Fortress' Apartment on Hadrian's Wall Path

'Fortress' is a 1 bedroom, ground floor, self catering apartment, housed within a carefully restored barn, a stone's throw away from the Hadrian's Wall Path. Fortress features a double bedroom, a bathroom and open plan kitchen/living space. The apartment is generously equipped with everything you might need for your stay, featuring your own private patio area. We accept 1 small dog in the property (by prior arrangement only) for an extra £20 for your stay. The space Literally a stones throw from the Hadrian's Wall Path, residents enjoy exclusive access to the famous World Heritage Site via a path passing the tarn that gives the farm its name. Here you will see wildlife in its natural habitat as well as cattle and sheep grazing in open fields. The location offers a unique mix of complete tranquillity and accessibility. Set within a small hamlet in an unspoilt and relatively undiscovered part of Cumbria, Fortress is set within acres of rolling farmland, yet is only ten minutes from the M6 and fifteen minutes from the historic border city of Carlisle. Guest access We have a separate laundry room for all our guests to use at their disposal, as well as a drying room for bikes and walking equipment. High chairs and cots are available on request.
