In our lovely home and on our estate, guest can expect traditional montenegrian hospitality and lot of options to introduce our culture. The space The story of Country House Djurisic begins on our family estate, where life has quietly followed the rhythm of nature for more than 500 years. For generations, my family has cared for this land, growing vines, making wine, and living in harmony with the lake and the mountains around us. The estate is surrounded by vineyards, gardens, and many fruit trees, and a natural spring with crystal-clear water runs through it, adding even more life to this peaceful corner. Inside the house, there’s our small family winery, a place where I love to welcome guests, share a glass of wine, and tell stories about our region and our way of life. On the same estate, we’ve created two accommodations: Country House Djurisic and Prevalis Nature Cottage. Each has its own character, yet both share the same essence: peace, authenticity, and closeness to nature. Our family has deep roots in winemaking, fishing, and life by the lake. For generations, we have made wine, prepared fish, and lived in rhythm with this land. Today, we open our home to travelers who wish to experience this region through local eyes, not as tourists, but as guests of the family. Here, you can take a private boat tour on Skadar Lake, explore quiet hiking paths, or simply enjoy the sound of birds and the scent of vines in the air. The lake is especially beautiful at sunrise or sunset, and I’m always glad to share that moment with guests who wish to see it. In the evenings, my family prepares homemade food with vegetables from our garden and fresh fish from the lake, paired with a glass of our own wine. Everything here is simple, honest, and made with care. When you stay with us, expect more than accommodation, expect connection. Our wish is that your time here becomes a story to remember, peaceful, meaningful, and full of warmth. Guest access Guests have full access to the estate and its peaceful surroundings. You can relax in the garden, enjoy a glass of wine by the natural spring, or unwind in the hammocks surrounded by fruit trees and birdsong. There are many quiet corners where you can simply pause, listen to nature, and feel the calm of the place. Other things to note If you wish to experience the lake, I organize private boat tours only for my guests. These are not mass-tourism trips, but peaceful rides on a small and comfortable boat made for quiet enjoyment and discovering the true beauty of Skadar Lake.
