Charming cottage & bungalow, lovingly restored with spacious gardens, ideal get-away for couples, families and friends to relax and unwind, just a stone's throw from Flinders village and beach. A cosy place for the perfect escape in summer or winter, with plentiful beaches, parks, golf, cafes, wineries and restaurants nearby. Great for holidays with family &/ or friends, or wedding guest accommodation for families or one or two couples. Particularly suitable for young families. Near dog beach. The space The cottage and bungalow have been lovingly and recently restored, featuring old-style charm and modern facilities. The cottage contains: one master bedroom (queen bed) and a large second bedroom (two sets of bunk beds); the lounge and kitchen are open plan with a cosy wooden fire heater and air conditioner (cooling and heating) and are well equipped for entertaining; plus there is a laundry (washing machine, ironing facilities) and bathroom (toilet and shower). The bungalow has been recently refurbished and features: large bedroom (queen bed); bathroom (claw-foot bath and large shower with amazing water pressure and lots of hot water!); separate toilet; kitchenette including bar fridge, tea and coffee facilities and cutlery, crockery. Perfect accommodation for a couple, friends, grandparents and/ or babysitters! The back garden is fully fenced with beautiful lawn and some shady spots under the olive and fruit trees. The front garden contains a fire pit with BBQ grill, and is beautiful and sunny in the mornings; cool and shady in the afternoons. We have lots of friendly birdlife - kookaburras, parrots, etc. Plus there is a large Springfree trampoline for the kids! There are lots of outdoor chairs and tables in the front and back gardens for lounging around and entertaining, including two large sun lounge beanbags in the backyard (perfect for a snooze in the sun or some time to read a book). There is a private driveway running for almost the full length of the property, which safely accommodates 3-4 cars. For entertainment - there's lots of outdoor games (e.g. Cricket, totem tennis, soccer balls) and the trampoline, indoor games (e.g. Uno, Jenga, Pictionary, Monopoly) and books. We are able to leave kids' toys upon request. Pillows, doonas and blankets are provided (all new bedding); please bring your own doona covers, pillow cases, sheets and towels. PS. This property is most suitable for: - 1-2 families with small children - 1 family + grandparents/ nannies etc - 1 family with older kids - 1-2 couples (not large groups of adults, given that there are only 2 bathrooms and bunk beds etc) Guest access Guests have private access to the entire property during their stay - the cottage, bungalow and two very large garden spaces. There is a key safe on-site allowing for no-fuss arrivals and departures, at your leisure and convenience.
