A brilliant location for exploring the North East! A modern and immaculate detached home located in the charming rural village of Backworth - suitable for 8 adults and 2 children and babies. A well connected location only 1 mile from Northumberland Park Metro Station - gets you to Newcastle in 20 minutes, just off the A19 motorway which links to the A1. The house is our family home, we enjoy many happy holidays here exploring this gorgeous stretch of Coastline and Northumberland Countryside. Plus many more updates! A delightful newly built detached home located in the charming old mining village of Backworth, a very well connected location only a stones throw from the A19 motorway which links to the A1. The house is our home, we enjoy many happy holidays here seeing family and friends and exploring this gorgeous stretch of coastline and Northumberland Countryside. We are letting our entire house, five bedrooms and four bathrooms for exclusive private use. The house is in a very quiet private cul-de-sac has views of the countryside. There is a high speed WIFI network in the house. The house has gas central heating with temperature controlled radiators. On the ground floor there is a large entrance hallway with plenty of coat hooks and an umbrella stand, there is a stylish downstairs loo and under-stair cupboard which contains the outside cushions, an ironing board and Miele vacuum cleaner. To the right is a playroom with bean bags, many games, toys and books, there is a TV and DVD player with over 50 children’s DVD’s. The playroom also houses a desk and chair and a computer available to use via a Guest Login. The lounge has Bi-fold doors to the garden with beautiful views, watching the sunset and the skies changing colour is an amazing feature of the house. Sofas can seat up to 6 people and are very comfortable, it’s a great space to wind down and watch a movie on Netflix, play games and enjoy drinks. We have some lovely prints from Alexander Miller whose images of Coal Miners are famous all over the world. The stunning kitchen and dining area with white Quartz worktops leads into the utility room which houses a large washing machine, tumble dryer and double Belfast sink. Here you can also find a plastic jug and glasses for outdoors as-well as an iron and other useful household items including a handheld Dyson vacumm. The fully equipped kitchen is an amazing space for cooking and entertaining and includes everything you will need. It has a large Belfast sink, SMEG gas hob, oven and microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine and milk warmer, a Neff Dishwasher, fridge/freezer and wine fridge, a NutriBullet, a blender, an electric carving knife and many other gadgets. There is an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glasses. The outside space has a large terrace and grassed area and is perfect for relaxing, lounging and BBQ’s, it is a safe place for children to play and has outdoor seating. At the front of the house there is a key box for easy check in, a garden and bench for enjoying the morning sun. There is a large driveway for 3 cars and easy street parking if required. There is a side gate to the back garden which is a useful access after walks. There is a hose for cleaning boots and bikes after trips to the famous Wagons Ways which can be accessed within 200 yards of the house. The first floor hallway leads to the four bedrooms. All the bedrooms have high quality bedding, duvets and pillows. The blinds are all black out but the rooms are not completely dark. There is a salon quality hair dryer. Master Bedroom with En-Suite - an M&S Kingsize bed and bedside tables with lamps and matching dove grey double wardrobe, there are two chairs and a TV. The En-Suite has a large shower, sink and toilet and mirror. Bedroom 2 - Kingsize bed with M&S bedside tables and lamps and matching ivory wardrobe. There is a chair and mirror in the room which has two windows and lovely views. Bedroom 3 - Is a perfect for children with white single bed size bunk beds and Cath Kidson bedding, this can easily be for boys and girls. There is a basket with extra kids linen, cot sheets and baby towels. There are also two travel cots. Bedroom 4 - A huge spacious room with a double bed and ensuite and lovely views from the Dorma window. Family Bathroom - With a large bath and shower and a step for children to brush teeth. There are plenty of fluffy white cotton towels for all guests. *Please note there is one travel cot available to use, each of the bedrooms are sizeable enough to hold a cot and/or travel bed each. There is also a baby seat and changing mat. Top Floor is a private suite which sleeps 2 adults and a baby in a travel cot or children on a blow up bed. It also as an ensuite wit a shower and bath. The original part of Backworth is commonly referred to as the village. It is home to several cottages dating back to the 19th Century. There is also a church, village hall, Chinese take-away, two convenience stores, a pharmacy, a sandwich shop, barber shop and poodle parlour. The property is 0.9 miles from the Pavilion public house which serves food all-day, 1.2 miles from Northumberland Park Metro Station which takes 20 minutes to Newcastle City Centre and a a few stops from the coast. At the station there is also a parade of shops including a Sainsbury’s supermarket. Backworth is also home to Backworth Golf Course, the only 9-hole course in the area. Keen walker and cyclist? Backworth is home to the Waggon Ways and you can spend hours exploring the NE Coast on these wide and picturesque paths. **please note this house is not for parties or for groups of party goers** Guest access Guests will have access to the whole house privately.
