Rocky Ledges

Our house was a historic cottage, built in the 1880s. We built a new house around the cottage. We are Artists and our guest bedrooms are in a sense galleries. Guests have the entire second floor, 2 bedrooms, perfect for couples who are traveling together & families with teenagers. The back is the private entrance to the stairs. We live on a quiet and pleasant dead end street. The views of the Catskills & gardens are awesome. Located near Hunter Mountain Festivals, Woodstock & Katterskill Falls. The space The Main Bedroom is new construction with amazing views of the Catskills through a wall of windows. There is a Queen size bed with a "kitchenette" area (small refrigerator, a toaster oven, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. There is a table with 4 chairs for dining. Note:? There is a patio door that has no balcony (yet). Please do not open! The older (cottage) bedroom has a full size futon, a flatscreen TV with Apple TV. For those who don't watch TV, guests have access to owners collection of art books. There is a laundry area with ironing board, and a large dresser to store your clothes (top 2 drawers, there are more sheets in the bottom 2). We have an antique desk perfect for laptops (WIFI is provided). The guest closet is in the second bedroom on the left. Both bedrooms have air conditioners and fans. Guest access Guests have a private the bathroom with clawfoot tub that is also a shower, a kitchenette, an apple TV and a laundry area. All on the second floor, with a private entrance. Accommodates 2-4 guests from all backgrounds. Guests can access the front garden yard, the deck and the woods on our property. We also share our BBQ. Other things to note Please no pets, we do keep an young romping cat on the first floor. No Smoking Allowed. We accept teenagers but not young children. Unfortunately we are not handicapped accessible. Cell phone reception in the area is difficult for some, we have a Verizon booster. Blink Camera located at outside front door entrance. Since we want the house to be clean as possible, it would be appreciated if you could remove your shoes when entering (especially after hiking). There is a bench and space to store shoes/boots. In colder weather, you can also hang jackets and coats in the entrance.
