The Secluded Treasure includes a very comfortable queen-sized bed, en suite full bathroom with shower (a movable 4-panel screen separates this part of the room), table and chairs and Roku TV. Space includes a kitchenette complete with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, electric kettle, toaster, microwave, and sink. Outdoor gas grill and picnic table are a few steps away. Roku TV, games and books are provided if you are so inclined. Iron and ironing board in the room. Free fast WiFi included! Enjoy your stay in a serene outdoor setting or inside your cute and comfortable home away from home. Enjoy the spacious, fenced-in back yard, go for a walk in the neighborhood, or bring your bike for a cycle around nearby White Rock Lake (bike path starts at the end of the block!). Leave your worries at the gate and relax in the beauty of the country in the heart of the city! Guest access Guests are welcome to access the Guest House and all of the spacious yard, pool, hot tub, grill area and intimate outdoor seating areas. Our Secluded Treasure is intended to be a private getaway for a single person or couple. It is not to be used as a "Party House" for a large celebration. If you intend to have anyone over during your stay, you need to clear it with us ahead of time or a penalty may apply. Other things to note Concerned and caring hosts, Lisa and Vern have lived in the neighborhood for 30 years and are available to help you with any special requests to make your stay memorable. We're the real deal, not a listing service. Helping you is how we get better at hosting! Please note that we also have an Airbnb Space next door in the Garage Apartment, "Rare Gem in the Heart of the City", tailored more for the business traveler. During World Cup, we also have "Peaceful Paradise in the Heart of the City", a two bedroom/two bath home which is adjacent to the Treasure. The Secluded Treasure is most suitable for two adults max. Off road parking on premises. Side gate entry to the backyard and the Pool House. House-broken pets with prior approval, no pet deposit is required but you are responsible for any damage incurred by your pet(s). Please note that no pets will be allowed May-July 2026 due to the World Cup and pool, hot tub, grill and back yard will be shared with guests in the main house. The back yard is completely fenced in. Washer/dryer available upon request for a small fee for longer stays. Cleaning service available for a fee for longer stays. Subletting is not allowed. I heard a noise in the night...since we have a creek and a greenbelt behind our property we are frequently visited by some wildlife. The yard is securely fenced but you may see or hear opossums, raccoon, armadillos, owls or hawks.
