Whether for summer days at the beach or for a cosy winter stay with our heated swim spa, it has everything for a 1 or 2 x family stay, a romantic getaway or a weekend away with friends or pets all year round. Red Rocks is also the best base on Phillip Island - literally across the road to the beach and bush trails, while only 5-10 mins by car to the Penguins, the Surf beaches and the Race Track. Explore where the locals live on Phillip Island! The space Master bedroom with ensuite and sunroom and views through the trees to the water, plenty of bunk beds, 2nd master bedroom, heated indoor swim spa, swings for the kids, proper slate pool table, board games, stacks of DVDs, books, a Playstation 2, a knitting basket, acoustic guitar, unlimited NBN wifi, full Foxtel subscription and Netflix, lounge room smart TV, 2nd kids' TV, kids' bikes (byo helmets though!), shovels for the beach and a big fenced backyard with BBQ to play in! Covered carport for your cars/bikes. We also provide a good set of the basics to get you started like some body wash, hand soap, dishwasher tabs, laundry powder, cooking oil, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, foil, baking paper, bin bags and a few rolls of toilet paper so you can get relaxing right away! NOTE: THE HOUSE IS BYO LINEN (PILLOW SLIPS, FITTED AND FLAT SHEETS) AND TOWELS (BATH AND POOL) (except for. MotoGP and Christmas/NY holidays). Guest access All the attractions on the Island are accessible by a short car ride or the bus at the end of the street. The best beach on the Island with the amazing 'Red Rocks' are just a step outside the front gate - play in the rock pools, build sand castles, snorkel in the bay or walk into central Cowes via the beach. House-trained pets welcome (they just have to stay out of the bedrooms please). We have a big washing machine and an equally big dryer too to make sure you can get cleaned up and have fresh clothes for the next day too. ;-) Other things to note We have a Welcome Book on the sideboard - it sets out how to work the pool, gas heater, BBQ etc as well as a few house rules, so please do read it and start relaxing as soon as you arrive! The place is BYO pillow slips, linen/sleeping bags and bath and pool towels. Linen service can be provided, but only with additional fees with minimum 24 hours’ notification in advance (flat fee of $150 for your stay). (NB: Linen is provided free of charge for MotoGP and Christmas/New Year bookings). All pillows, doonas, blankets, bath mats, tea towels etc are always provided. If you sleep without sheets an excess cleaning fee of $500 will be charged (and yes our cleaners know the difference)! Temporary - the view out the living room window behind the TV is not currently accurate in the photos. The rockery garden needed to be removed due to being overgrown. It will not be planted out until March 2026. Until then it is just the rockery but no plants so is very bare. That said, the living our neighbour's trees and shrubs still maintain privacy in the living room. Please also note that natural gas on Phillip Island is by gas bottle only and to ensure all our guests have gas we allocate one bottle per 1 week stay only. While all our appliances are electric (including the cook top and split system air conditioning and heating), please do take care not to leave the gas fire in the living room or the pool heater going the whole time or you will do your bottle very quickly. Extra bottles or excess usage will unfortunately have to be recovered from your security deposit ($200/bottle). That said, if the gas appliances are used properly and turned off after use, 1 bottle has always been more than enough for us each week - even in the depths of winter. Feel free to ask questions about it any stage - I am more than happy to talk you through how to use the pool heater and making sure the pool cover is on when not in use to make sure you absolutely get the best out of it!
