Abbey Church 12, The Wulstan

The Highland Club is a collection of 4 and 5 star serviced self catered apartments set within 20 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds on the south shore of Loch Ness, cradled by the Caledonian Canal and the River Tarff. It occupies Grade A gothic buildings, the original 1729 English fortification, Fort Augustus, which became St Benedict’s Abbey. Located centrally in The Highlands, Fort Augustus Abbey promises comfort whilst exploring Urquhart Castle, Culloden, Clava Cairns, Skye or Ben Nevis. The space The Wulstan is on the first floor (No Lift) of the Abbey Church and sleeps up to 4 people with the use of a sofa bed in the study area. It has a very large open plan kitchen-dining-reception area that contains some of the large and impressive exposed sandstone columns which support the vaulted roof of the former church. The master bedroom has a king size bed and a built in wardrobe. The bathroom has a bath, wc, basin and a shower cubicle. Ideal for a romantic getaway.
