Le Cottage – Charming gîte in the Périgord Noir

"Le Cottage", a charming 70 m² cottage in the Périgord Noir, a stone's throw from all the tourist sites of Dordogne and Lot: Sarlat, Lascaux, Dordogne Valley, Padirac, Rocamadour. "Bibliogîte" run by former booksellers. The space The Cottage is a stone cottage, dating from the end of the 18th century, adjoining the owners' house, but enjoying absolute independence: separate entrance, private terrace just in front of the pool (4 m by 8, maximum depth 1.35 m, to be shared with another cottage), access to the large garden (not enclosed) of the property. The cottage has three levels: you enter through the equipped kitchen-dining room which also opens onto the terrace on the garden side. Lower (twelve-step staircase) are the living room with TV and DVD player, bathroom and toilet. Higher (four steps), you can access two bedrooms, one with a 140 bed, the other with a 160 bed and a 90 bed. Please note that the toilet and bathroom are not on the same level as the bedrooms. Linens are provided, as well as towels and dish towels. The gîte is quietly located in a pretty little village. For everyone's peace of mind, unfortunately we cannot accommodate parties that are too noisy. All shops ten minutes away. Sarlat 24 km away, Lascaux 28 km away, Rocamadour 34 km away. Available in high season (July-August) from Saturday to Saturday. Open all year round, two nights minimum. The pool is not heated but it is covered at night, and generally usable from early June to late September. Former booksellers, we offer you in our "bibliogîte" a wide selection of books to discover during your stay. If you want to enjoy your stay to the fullest, without worrying about a vacuum cleaner or mop, we can offer a cleaning package for €40. The rental can be coupled with that of our other cottage, "La Grange" (4/6 pers.) While we love animals, unfortunately we cannot allow them in our cottages due to the unfenced grounds. The Cottage" is a 3* rated furnished tourist accommodation.
