South Beach, OR - Walk to the beach from our home!

We love to share our beach cabin with others looking for a short-term or long-term furnished escape. It is perfect for writers/artists, travel nurses/medical professionals, families, or anyone wanting to be in the area for at least one month. Our home is in South Beach, OR, just south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Walk to the private beach access point from your front door. The house is set up for a fantastic retreat and has everything you need to get away from it all! *30-days or more only* The space Cozy woodstove, large picture windows overlooking the huge backyard and ocean peeking through the trees, and a quiet streets that lead you down to the private beach access point. Our beach house is approximately 1000 square feet and feels like a funky mix of modern and beachy vibe. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to create amazing meals -- slow cooker, Instant Pot, blender, toaster, oven, and range. The west bedroom has a King-sized bed while the second bedroom is full of bunk beds for children or visiting guests. A small space in between the two bedrooms has a queen bed in the event you need even more sleeping space. We love our covered deck on warmer evenings and also enjoy corn hole and a ping pong table when we host friends on the Coast. The house is stocked with books, games, and puzzles, too. We love this sweet house so much and are excited to share it with you. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home throughout your stay. Other things to note Our home was built in the 1960's and has a lot of that period vibe. If you are looking for a high-end beach condo, this is probably not the one for you. If you are looking for clean, fun, and funky with bright spaces in sunshine and coziness around the woodstove during winter storms, this is the house for you. Heating for our home is by electric wall heaters. You may also use the woodstove for an additional heat source, if needed. Additionally, we do not have a dishwasher, so if this is important to you, please note that dishes are washed by hand. The listing is for 4 adults, but the house accommodates additional people. If you plan to have more than 4 adults in the space or are traveling with a larger family that puts your occupancy number above 4 total, please send us a message before booking. Please note: If you are new to AirBnB and/or do not have positive reviews from other hosts, we require an additional refundable security deposit and a copy of your driver's license. It makes us truly sad to have to take this extra step, but a recent guest experience was an upsetting wake up call. We now require guests to have EITHER established profiles with AirBnB OR to take these extra steps to protect our home. Thank you for your understanding. Absolutely NO SMOKING, vaping, or marijuana use in the house, garage, or on the property. A $1000 fine will be applied + any espenses incurred to remove smoke damage from linens, furniture or walls.
