Downtown Mendocino Sears Tower - Dog Friendly

This two-story water tower cottage is located on our flagship property Sweetwater Inn & Spa in Mendocino. The Sears Tower was named after Beverly and Chaunce Sears, the previous owners of the Inn; originally called it the Sears House. It's great for families and can comfortably sleep 2 to 6 adults. There is 1 queen bed upstairs, 1 queen bed downstairs, and a double sofa bed. kitchenette, Smart TV, Direct TV, & free Wi-Fi. Dog Friendly with Pet Fee. *11% Bed Tax is now paid when booked The space Downstairs has a sunken living room with a gas stove fireplace, sofa with queen size bed pull out, an eating nook, a queen size bed, kitchenette, and a bathroom with a shower. A spiral staircase takes you up to a warm and lofty upstairs, open bedroom, with a queen size bed, TV, and views of the village. There is no door to this sleeping area upstairs, but with the spiral staircase and secluded space is out of the way from others. The Sears Tower is private but is located on the grounds of Sweetwater Inn and Spa at 44840 Main Street in Mendocino, California. Guest access The hot tub and sauna access is through our Spa during business hours, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. (10 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, and Summer time). The Spa is located in a separate building on the property. Please check-in with the Spa Desk Attendant before entering the Spa areas. A towel is provided for your daily soak. Our famous and traditional clothing optional Redwood Communal hot tub is open to the public, and does not require a reservation for guest use during Spa hours. All Sweetwater Inn guests have free access to our clothing optional co-ed outdoor Redwood Communal hot tub and our traditional Cedar sauna! No appointment is needed for your complimentary soak for an hour and a half per day during your stay. *Please note the communal hot tub is a 8 ft. diameter Redwood hot tub and is limited to 8 guests at a time. It is first come, first serve. *For an additional fee, you may book a private hot tub or a massage. Please call for an appointment for your desired treatment. Other things to note *Any bookings made before 4/17/25, will need to pay the 11% Bed Tax before check-in. This is not on private property, but the rental itself is private (the whole structure). There will be other guests sharing the property, as the water tower is located at our Sweetwater Inn & Spa in the village of Mendocino, California. *Our room price does not include the 11% county Bed Tax *11% Bed Tax is now paid at the time of booking via Airbnb *$125 Cleaning Fee applies *2-night minimum stay required any day of the week or weekend *3-night minimum stay required for all major holidays. *2 Dogs max allowed *Pet is free from fleas and ticks *Pet will not be left unattended in the room *Pet will be on a leash and under guest's control when outside *Guest will dispose of dog waste in garbage bin on property and notify house of any accident *Guest will be responsible for any damages caused by your pet/pets
