Our old, authentic cottage is your ideal place if you are looking for peace, space, art, creativity, relaxation and/or nature. There is a cozy living room with sitting area, dining table, wood stove and a simple kitchenette. Upstairs is the bedroom with a twin bed and an extra room. There is fast free WIFI. 15 steps from the house is the bathhouse with toilet, shower, sink and tap. You can also get your water here. From the front door you can already make beautiful walks and there are many marked routes in the area. La Creuse has thousands of kilometers of cycle routes for mountain bikes and the paved roads are great for road bikes. Even quieter? Enjoy the sound of the birds and French country life in the cottage. Upon entering you will find yourself in the spacious living room with a beautiful old fireplace and a wood stove. Here you can sit by the fire on comfortable chairs or relax at the spacious table. In the simple kitchen you will find a hob and everything to prepare a meal. You do the dishes in the bathhouse. Upstairs in the bedroom is a wonderfully spacious bed (180x200 cm) which can also be converted into two single beds. There is also a room with a small desk, ideal for meditating or doing yoga, for example. In front of the house is a small terrace where you can enjoy the sunset. The bathhouse is in the garden which you can also use. In the bathhouse you will find the shower, compost toilet and a double sink. Other things to note Important! There is no running water in the house. To shower, go to the toilet, brush your teeth or do the dishes, you can use a beautiful bathhouse, 15 steps from your front door. Here you will find a compost toilet, a lovely hot shower and double sink.
