Energy-efficient low-tech house with a healthy internal climate. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house. Other things to note You cannot reach the house by car, you can only get to the house by taking a cable car (Biel-Kinzig) and then walk (and carry your luggage and food) for 15 minutes. The closest place for food shopping is down in the village. It’s therefore important to plan your shopping well. Milk and cheese (and sometimes eggs) can be bought from the farmers on the alp (5 – 10 minutes walking distance from the house). The house has a wood stove, which you will need to light yourself in the winter.
