Other things to note Not accessible by car, but by the "Biel-Kinzig" cable car and 15 minutes' walk uphill (luggage and food must be carried by yourself). The nearest shopping facility is down in the village. Good shopping planning is therefore important! You can buy milk and cheese from the farmers on the Alp. The house has a wood heating system, which you have to fire up yourself in winter.
