Due to the Covid pandemic we have updated our cleaning procedures to ensure the upmost safety of our guests. We are proud to say we take Covid very seriously and the cottage has been fully sanitized after each stay- including the hot tub. After every single checkout. PLEASE NOTE🙌 a prompt checkout at 10 am is crucial so that the cleaning and sanitizing can begin for the next guests. Most of our visiting pets have not seen chickens therefore tend to try and go after them. Please keep pets leashed at all times of outside of cottage fence/gate. The exception is down at the beach/cove- they are welcome to play off leash all they want. We provide local coffee, tea, free range chicken eggs and a bottle of Mendocino County wine. The cottage is nestled on ten magical acres between Point Arena and Gualala. We have two well behaved labs, a kitty and a flock of free-range chicks. There are 9 acres of beautifully landscaped space to explore and a private cove with panoramic view of the ocean. The perfect location to relax with nature and solitude or take day trips to explore the Mendonoma Coast. Pets are welcome with a $125fee for up to 2 pets NOTE: please keep your pet off of the furniture- hence the pet fee- unfortunately over the last several years we have had to replace many rugs, duvet covers etc… due to pet mishaps. We seem more often then not to find pet hair all over the sofa. NOTE: the cost of any items damaged during your stay (besides an occasional wine glass :) will be taken from your deposit. Private parking for two at the beach cottage. About a hundred yard stroll to Warner Point where the guests enjoy whale and bird watching with unrivaled ocean views of the Pacific. There is a fire pits to relax around and watch the sun go down. Warner Point also has a natural wood bar, deck with glass railings and two bathrooms. Out door shower tooo!! Our home is about one hundred yards from the guest cottage and we are available for any questions in person or via text/email. Guest privacy is of upmost importance to us so we will be intuitive with our socializing. Warner Point which is down the little ocean side dirt road has two bathrooms, glass railing hardwood deck, bar, sink and and outdoor shower. PLEASE FEEL FREE to use the shower. Beach access is also down there with a lovely winding switch back trail. The trail is mid level as far as access. I wear flip flops down all of the time! Obviously watch your footing!Warner Point is a family property so there will be a few people coming and going especially on holidays. Our guests are very important to us as well as their privacy. We recommend reaching out to us if you’d like to use the point for an bbq or outdoor shower etc... and we will do our very best to accommodate and make it happen. Anchorbay is considered the banana belt of the coast. Often our beautiful location is sunny and protected from the wind and fog. Please remember we are in Nor Cal so please bring layers. Please don’t park right in front of the garage as we do have to access it sometimes.
