Praze Barn on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall

Beautiful barn sleeping two within gorgeous wooded countryside located only a short walk to the beach and coastal path. Praze Barn has a private garden with BBQ for the summer and indoors a woodburner for colder months. Our visitors are attracted to the South West Coastal Path - Kynance Cove, Lizard Point and the beautiful village of Cadgwith recently featured on Countryfile with a great traditional pub - are all within walking distance. The space Praze Barn is a comfortable, peaceful, romantic and we hope, inspiring hideaway. It’s a cottage we are proud to own and a place you’ll want to return to. It’s located in a quiet position in the middle of the beautiful countryside of the Lizard Peninsula but only a short walk to the amazing, dramatic coastline. Praze Barn is an 1830’s stone and cob Barn which has been lovingly renovated. Praze Barn sits within the grounds of the owners home, a 4 acre small holding bordered by national trust land. There is a fully fitted kitchen with a fridge (with freezer box), oven and dishwasher. Household items are supplied. A wood burner will keep you warm on cooler nights (with a plentiful supply of logs) and there are comfortable places to sit and relax in the evening. The bedroom is spacious, with a new king size bed, it definitely has a hint of luxury and there is space for a cot (not provided). There is Starlink WIFI which makes working or streaming easy, TV and DVD player and lots of books and games to play. We welcome “babes in arms” but Praze Barn is regrettably not suitable for young children or any pets. Outside in your private seating area is a table and chairs and Webber BBQ (please bring your own charcoal etc.) Matches and fire lighters are provided. There is a lockable, communal covered bike shed available for your use. Guest access There is plentiful parking outside the property. There is an outside table and chairs for guests use. Guests should feel free to wander around the grounds. Other things to note If you would like to consider bringing a dog on your holiday please consider booking Praze Piggery which is near Praze Barn. It has its own private garden and is quite separate from Praze Barn. Access to Praze Barn is from 16:00 but please feel free to park up earlier and use our car park as a base to explore on foot. Due to changeover cleaning, checkout needs to be by 10:00, however again please feel free to leave your car with us in our car park for the day if you would like to spend your last day in the local area. Sometimes later checkouts are possible - please just message me if you would like this and I will let you know. As we are in a rural location we would recommend arriving here before 21:00 if you have not stayed with us before.
