Country House on a Farm

Converted barn in 100 acres of land. A home from home crammed with books, games and toys. Easily accommodates at least 10 people comfortably. The garden, pond, woods and parking areas are all exclusively yours for the stay. We live up the lane from the barn. So you have privacy. We have chickens, ducks, Sheep and pigs on the farm. 5 mins drive from J28 of the M5. 20mins from Exeter centre. Not near any good beaches so don't choose us for a beach holiday. There is no spa or hot tub. The space We have a cinema room where you can watch our selection of DVDs or TV on a projector. This room also has a pool table & dressing up box. The living room is large and has a wood burner & smart TV. The games room in the garden has a quality table tennis table and small climbing frame plus some children's ride on bikes etc. We have a large trampoline and a croquet set. There is a basket ball net on the house. Plenty to do for an active family. We have a selection of toys and DVDs for children. Guest access We have 100 acres of farm land for exploring and some wooded areas. We try to encourage nature so you are bound to see rabbits, buzzards, heron, deer and the dreaded fox. The sheep and pigs are very friendly and the runner ducks parade past the property every day. We lamb the sheep in mid March. Other things to note We are a 1 mile walk from the town in one direction and the nearest pub in the opposite direction. We are 5 minutes drive from the motorway. This is not the place to stay for a beach holiday. We are 40 minutes drive from the nearest beach or costal village.
