The space Casa Amarela and Casa Azul are beautifully renovated traditional cottages that provide modern comforts while retaining their old world charm and character. Much use has been made of the wooden beams that formed part of the original building. Situated on the edge of the village of Amorosa in the Central Algarve region, the 2 storey cottages have a rural outlook over citrus groves, olive and almond trees and grape vines with an uninterrupted view towards a wild rugged hillside reaching nearly 1000ft - well worth a climb to the top during your stay. Lake beaches 5 minutes away. Guest access Casa Amarela is your own 2 bed house. With a double and a twin bedroom, situated on the ground floor, with a light, open-plan living area upstairs. Also on the first floor is the shower room, together with a WC and wash basin. The kitchen area has a full oven, microwave, along with a fridge and small freezer, toaster, electric kettle, cafetiere coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. A communal washing machine is available. Bedding and towels are provided. Shared use of pool, 3 outdoor tables, 2 large decks and seating. Supermarket within walking distance open 7 days a week until 9pm. Plus a fantastic bakery for proper fresh bread each day, still hot out of the oven. Village cafe and bar. Cash point. All 200m away. Other things to note Please bring your own towels for pool and beach. We can hire you beach towels and beach sun shades and body boards. In winter you need to buy from us the wood pellets for the pellet burner as they must be good quality pellets at cost plus 1 euro. About 5 euros per bag which usually last 3/4 days. The cottages, terraces, decks and gardens are non smoking and non vaping. Smoking 30m from your door outside the main gates.
