The Sand Trout

The Sand Trout is a cozy little house located in a quiet subdivision with many retired residents, suitable for a small family getaway. ** Note before booking request, please look over our house rules: NO parties/gathering, NO Pets,etc. This 800 sf home is fully equipped for home prep meals. The beautiful wrap around deck is great for lounging, meals, or enjoying beautiful sunrise & sunsets. The space There are an abundance of activities your family can enjoy while vacationing here. You can take nice strolls along a quiet clean beach, watch kids playing in the sun, then finally enjoy your dinner watching a beautiful sunset from the gorgeous deck. The house is 1 block from the beach; less than 5 minutes walk. You can make plans for beaching, fishing, crabbing or whatever your heart desires, then come home and relax in our cozy beach house. For those who want to do more than just beaching, house is short driving distance from movie theater, Miniature golf, Moody Garden, Schlitterbahn, and pier fishing. There are also many popular local restaurants on east end of island serving varieties from delicious Tex-mex, seafood, Asian, fast food, food truck varieties...and more. Further east, you can take a ferry ride with the kids. To avoid waiting time, guests may park in free lot and walk on for the ferry ride. The kids may enjoy feeding birds with bread pieces and looking out for local dolphins in the open water. Guest access Guests are welcome to use complete house.
