Flat to yourself at a budget price -central & cosy
Description
Light, airy, self-contained studio flat just 4mins walk from the heart of town; yet only 10mins walk from country walks around Bath. ***PLEASE READ MY LISTING CAREFULLY AS THIS LISTING WON'T SUIT EVERYONE THO*** Suit a male; business person on a course; or similar. It's on a hill so BEAUTIFUL views & great light. BUT it is a Basic & simple flat. This flat is an opportunity but do not expect luxury for your money. It's my home so while you stay here - I go AirBnB-ing myself for a bit. The space ***PLEASE READ MY LISTING CAREFULLY AS THIS LISTING WON'T SUIT EVERYONE*** It is in a group of blocks of flats in Bath so it won't suit everyone - 4th floor; lift; stairs; the neighbourhood is 'lively' compared to the rest of Bath so not for a sensitive, artistic type perhaps? I LOVE it here - but not everyone will. But that is why it is less than HALF-PRICE of usual self-contained flats in Bath. The neighbourhood is not luxurious or posh, but it's super-convenient, self-contained and has beautiful views/light. And less than 30 seconds away are some of the poshest neighbourhoods. It is 2 minutes from the Royal Crescent; Royal Victoria Park; The Circus; and The Assembly Rooms. And also 1 minute or less from the beautiful Camden Crescent and Lansdown Crescent. (All times are for WALKING) You won't need a car - town is a moments walk down the hill. Brand new tiled Bathroom with deep bath and electric shower and all new fittings. Broadband. Sofabed/Couch for a +2 if you like. Nice double bed with a drape so separate it (a bit) from the Living space. Separate (basic) Kitchen and (new) Bathroom. Very easy and quick to heat. Lots of hot water! Windows will open wide, and the flat is dual aspect so a breeze, on warm balmy English summer evening, will brush across you. Includes: •Broadband & WIFI •microwave 800W class E. •Fridge with freezer compartment •Electric oven with topgrill and 4 hob electric hob and main oven. •kettle, basic cutlery, kitchen knives, a few glasses, stainless steel pans and sieves etc. The basics - not luxury. •electric Iron & ironing board •Hairdryer •I leave my cooking basic too: herbs, spices, stock cubes, cooking oils, condiments, teas & coffees, ketchup & mustard etc so you have some basics to use. (Please don't take them) • 2 fresh towels; • Bedding and an extra change of bedding too (sheets and duvet cover) •Shampoo; liquid soaps; WU liquid; household cleaning sprays etc; bleach; Toilet Roll; shoe polish; candles... DO NOT EXPECT LUXURY! Functional - yes; simple, basic and comfy - yes! Luxurious - NO! Convenient; cheap; contained; close to the centre; cheerful; clean. But not luxurious. (e.g. The floor is now wooden and newly laid) Guest access It is a communal entrance, which can be a bit littered or 'lived-in', but freshly painted and safe. The lift is a shared lift. From the bottom entrance it is 4th floor in the lift; but from the hill entrance it is Ground floor (Bath is hilly). Communal entrance door and lobby leading to outdoor corridors and then the front door which is like any apartment block. Then the space is your own, self-contained, light, airy and wonderful. The front door is double-locked and very secure. The views from the bed are across the city! *** If you leave the flat domestically clean, tidy and respected - I'll waive or return the £60 cleaning fee *** Other things to note It's a simple neighbourhood located in the middle of the posh bits of Bath. More functional than fancy ;) Just NOT a 5* hotel, or a usual Bath neighbourhood. I've lived here 12 years and I love it - but the lift may have rubbish in it; and the neighbours like to chat sometimes. But it's real and fun. And it's not a worry. I live simply and not materially, so little things like: • On the oven - only two of the four rings work. • it is fairly 'freshly decorated' like most in Bath; or 'all mod cons'. In fact, it has no mod cons that I know of ;) •kettle, cutlery, sharp-knives etc - but only 3 wine glasses and 3 plates -I live simply!
