Cosy 1 bedroomed self contained cottage with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge with tv (including DSTV), & a bathroom with shower. There is backup power via solar, which powers lights, tv & wifi. Water is supplied from a 5,000L storage tank, fed from a borehole . Cottage is located in Khumalo: 1km from Ascot Shopping Center 3km from CBD Entrance into property is via an electric gate, & parking is on site. Cottage is located behind the main house & guests can park right next to Cottage The space Secure & comfortable. Close access to city center (1km frim Ascot Shopping Center, & 3km from city center,). The bedroom has a double bed and a fan for use on hot balmy nights . Cable TV is available and wifi is also available. A small lounge with a sofa/couch is available to make yourself comfortable as you watch TV . The caretaker will give you wifi access on arrival and also show you around he cottage. You can cook your own meals as there is a gas stove and a fridge. For supplies for food, there is a local supermarket chain within walking distance. Coffee, creamer & sugar are available for you to make yourself a cup of coffee whenever you need it. And electric kettle, toaster, microwave and crockery are available to enable you to cook. The bathroom has a shower, hand basin & toilet. Towels and bathing soap and toilet paper are available as part of the package. In the event of power outage, there is solar which powers lights, tv and wifi. It also powers booster pump, which ensures that there is water from the 5,000L storange tank into the house for guests' use Guest access Guests can use the garden and also have a barbecue on request. The garden is shared with other guests , so prior request is needed so that a set up can be arranged for you for your convenience Other things to note The cottage has a solar/electricity combo geyser for hot water. Parking for guests with their own car is on site. Access is via an electric gate. There is a solar system that we use when there is a power outage. It powers the outside lights, wifi , cottage lights, & TV. It also powers booster pump, which ensures that there is water from the 5,000L storange tank into the cottage for guests' use. There is also an electric powered borehole, so water is always available (note that you can not iron nor use the fridge when solar is in use)
