Also included is your access to the Quarry where you can dig for fossils around 460 million yrs old. Great for adults and children of all ages, guaranteed to make finds and no previous knowledge or specialist equipment required. Perfect for a romantic break, or special occasion. The space You have the whole area to yourselves as we only have one Shepherds Hut. Privacy, peace and tranquility are guaranteed. Along the stone track you will come across sheep and lots wildlife. Please drive carefully, and always close the gate behind you. Guest access Our guests are welcome to roam the surrounding fields and hillside. We can point out the best walking and cycling routes. Access to the quarry is exclusively for our guests, it is signposted and just a two minute walk away. Other things to note Once your booking is confirmed, we will send you detailed directions to the Hut, your door key code and earliest check in time.
