Our cabin is cosy self-contained, ideal for couples or families. It is in a tranquil riverside setting surrounded by snowgums and overlooks the River with views across the Crackenback Ridge. It is a short walk from the Village Square, Kosciuszko Express Chairlift and the new Merits Gondola. Fully self-contained and includes linen, a fully equipped kitchen (with microwave and dishwasher), internet and telstra TV (with netflix and foxtell now). There is also a balcony. The space Welcome to Thredbo and thank you for checking this listing! Our charming cabin ideal for couples or families overlooking Thredbo valley and the mountain. Located a short walk from the central village square and Kosciuszko Express Chairlift. The cabin: Come stay and enjoy this lovely cabin which is fully self contained kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher. The cabin and a separate bedroom with a queen bed, two single beds in large loft and a pull out module sofa bed in the living room. The sofa bed can be three single beds or a queen and a single. The sofa beds have a full inner spring mattress and slat base for support. Suitable for adults or children. Please note that the loft area (second bedroom area) does have a small area above a hand rail open to the living room. Please see photos for more details. In addition the cabin offers: - Free WiFi - DVD and telstra TV cable network - Balcony with views north. - All linen supplied - Heating - Washer / Dryer The area: The cabin is located inside the Kosciuszko National Park. Winter activities include skiing, snowboarding, swimming/water slide, shopping, visiting great restaurants and enjoying village life. Riverside Cabins are location only a couple of minutes walk to the village square, which means you’re always close to shops and nightlife throughout Thredbo. You can enjoy a meal in one of Thredbo’s many cafes or restaurants. In fact, right next door you will find the Burger Bar Restaurant, famous in Thredbo for amazing food. The chairlifts and gondola are close by for whatever Thredbo adventure you want to have! Skiing in winter or hiking and mountain biking in summer. The cabin offers the perfect accommodation for an active getaway or the mountain relax! Guest access Parking and drop off: There is a 15 minute car drop off zone for the complex as the Cabin has no designated car park and you will need to park in one of the public car parks in Thredbo Village. There is a number of parking areas in the village. Closest is about 60 metres away on the side of the oval. If this is full there are three larger parking areas at Friday flat which is about 700-900 metres level walk. There is a shuttle bus during winter that runs about every 10 minutes from the car park back to the village and Riverside cabins. The Cabin is located very close to the drop off area up the first set of stairs on the left. They are provided free of charge. BBQ supplies can be purchased at the Thredbo Supermarket and takeaways from the Bistro Bar in Summer. BBQ’s are located by the Snowmakers Pond, by the Thredbo River in front of the Information Centre and alongside Valley Terminal, and on the Village Green. Golf or Disc Golf? There is also a 9 hole golf course or 18 hole disc golf course adjacent to the chalet. Golf clubs can be hired from the Thredbo centre. Registration Details Exempt
