The Casa Romana vacation home is located directly on the ski slope next to the middle station of the Piz Mundaun / Obersaxen mountain railways (120 km of slopes). The mountain restaurant Cuolm Sura and the Aprés-Ski Bar Muntaniala can be reached in 2 minutes. In the immediate vicinity since the 2017 winter season is the center of the Mundaun Ski School and the new snow paradise for children. Perfect for a group or family. The apartment is on the first floor of the house with wonderful views of Piz Mundaun. The space Winter: Ski holidays in the ski resort (Ski In/Out) Summer: Perfect starting point for hiking (including guest card) Bedroom: 2 bedrooms: A double room with a bunk bed and a room of 6 with bunk beds. Baths: 1 bathroom: The bathroom has a shower and a bathtub as well as a sink. There is also a separate toilet available. No washing machine Living rooms: An open plan living room with kitchen, dining and living area. In the living room is a dining table, corner bench, three chairs, three stools, two sofa, reading chairs, corner table, radio and community games. South view with morning and evening sun. Kitchen: The kitchen has four hotplates, oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, fondue caquelon, dishes, pans, dishwashing detergent, kitchen towels, etc. Salt, pepper, flour and oil are available. No dishwasher. Interior design: The windows and insulation in the entire house were completely renewed in 2023. The apartment was freshly painted in 2018 and new carpets were laid. Bed linen is provided, terry towels on request. Arrival: In winter you can reach Casa Romana with the chairlift from the Valata valley station, where parking is available. For arrivals after 16:30, a snowmobile shuttle (subject to availability) can be booked at an additional cost. In summer you can park for free in the parking lot below Casa Romana. Guest access Casa Romana is located at Cuolm Sura at 1600 m. In summer, numerous hiking trails lead along the mountain range with the peaks Piz Mundaun, Hitzeggen, Stein and Piz Sezner. Three peaks are accessed by the mountain railway and offer exciting hiking and biking routes in combination with the neighboring Val Lumnezia valley. Perfect for a group or family looking to relax in nature. The apartment is on the first floor of the house with wonderful views of Piz Mundaun. Other things to note As an overnight guest in the Surselva, you benefit exclusively from the free Surselva guest card in summer (mid-May to October). You will enjoy free rides on the mountain railways and many other discounts, as well as various free activities.
