Description
Bratton Mill Cottage is a comfortable, recently redecorated self-catering cottage forming part of a charming former mill, sleeping up to 4 guests across two bedrooms. The ground floor comprises a large entrance lobby with washing machine and dryer pulley, a fitted kitchen/breakfast room, a sitting room with wood-burning stove, and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The space Upstairs, reached via a narrow staircase, is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath, toilet and hand basin) and a twin bedroom, all beautifully furnished with lovely views over the garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and a separate freezer in the lobby, plus toaster, kettle, cookware, utensils and china. There's a discreetly placed television, DVD player and radio, wifi throughout, and an iron, ironing board and hair dryer for convenience. Please note there is no mobile phone reception due to the location. Electricity and central heating are included in the price and can be adjusted to suit, while the wood-burning stove comes with logs, kindling and matches provided in cooler months. Beautiful White Company bed linen, duvets and large fluffy towels are supplied, though guests should bring their own outdoor/beach towels. Tea, coffee, sugar and household sundries such as toilet rolls and washing-up liquid are also provided. Outside, guests have sole use of a private lawn bordered on one side by a trout stream, with outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the setting, though the garden is not enclosed. Parking is available beside the cottage for two cars, on a shared private lane also serving two further holiday properties. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, maximum two, subject to a GBP 15 supplement per dog; a stairgate is provided, and dogs should be kept off furniture and away from upstairs rooms, and never left alone in the property.
