No 1 Ramageton Cottage at Carnell Estates

A popular cosy cottage within 2000 acres of the Carnell Estates, No. 1 Ramageton is set within a small former farm called Ramageton and adjoining a second holiday cottage. The cottage has its own private fenced garden. There is a comfortable, open-plan living area with a double sofa bed , kitchen & dining area; a separate king-bedded bedroom and bathroom with bath and over the bath shower. Outdoors, a deck with chairs, hammock, pizza oven and BBQ. This house is dog-friendly. The space The cottage has fantastic views over rolling countryside and towards our dairy farm. The interiors are decorated in a contemporary way with a calm palette of colours. Heat and hot water is supplied from our central biomass boiler meaning the cottage is always toastie even in the depths of winter. The cottage is 15 minutes drive to nearest shops. There are great walks around the estate. The coast is only 15 minutes drive with fantastic sandy beaches at Troon, Prestwick and Ayr. If you're not hugely active, the cottage is a fab place to read, paint and take photos. A recent guest has left a wonderful drawing of the wild flower garden in front off the deck. It's now framed and in the hallway. Guest access Parking is adjacent to the cottage. Other things to note If you are bringing a dog we do charge £20 to cover extra cleaning. Whilst most people including us think their dogs are clean, those who don't have animals don't want the house to smell doggy. The supplement covers regular extra cleaning of carpets and sadly when needed, the soft furnishings! We will put a bed, bowls and a towel if you can let us know what make and model.
