Description
A stay in our vintage shepherd’s hut is a rare chance to reconnect with nature without compromising on all the creature comforts you need for a relaxing and memorable escape. Set in the beautiful hamlet of Dargate, complete with its renowned gastro pub ‘The Dove’, you’ll find yourself surrounded by orchards, rolling hills and ancient woodland – ideal for walking, cycling or exploring the nearby beaches. Whitstable, Canterbury and Faversham all just a 10 minute drive away!:) The space ‘Nana’s Hut’ is a rare find – an original shepherds hut that blends the old with the new – giving you a taste of off-grid living but with all your essential comforts. It has been lovingly restored and fully equipped with a double sofa bed, kettle, fridge, an electric stove and a vintage style Bluetooth radio so that you can chill to your favourite music. You even have access to a double electric socket with USB plug so you can stay in touch with the real world – if you really must! The hut also has its own private WC, shower and sink and a cooking area with BBQ, gas hob and hot plate, so that you can prepare your own meals if you don’t fancy walking to the local pubs. Nana’s Hut is discretely located within the grounds of our house but totally secluded and not overlooked. Guest access An allocated off-road parking space in a large private car park a few yards from the hut. Other things to note We have 2 friendly dogs called Pudsey (Cockapoo) & Beau (Miniature poodle) . Please make sure to close the gate as occasionally they like to go for a wander! We may also have other guests elsewhere on site .
