Cosy but comfortable room in Kensal Rise

Cozy but comfortable 1 bedroom in North West London with easy access to London attractions. The house has recently been refurbished to a high standard. The room can accommodate 1 person only, who can share the other areas of the house. The room is located on the 1st floor and the bathroom is share with me. The space HOUSE & LOCATION: The entire house has been recently renovated to a high standard in contemporary style (white-stained oak floors throughout, all new bathrooms, new lighting and heating system). It is located on a quiet residential street in Kensal Green, North West London. Within walking distance there are an abundance of vibrant restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Willesden Junction train station is only a 5 minute walk, with train links to Central London and further afield. Train lines include: Bakerloo Line, Overground and National Rail. There are bus stops very nearby, with 6 different busses going to various parts of London. ROOM SPACE: The guest room is located on the 1st floor and can only accommodate 1 person. Despite being a small room, it is very quiet and comfortable It comes with: • Brand new furniture including a single bed, double wardrobe, and a chair. • Shared bathroom (body wash and shampoo included). • Bed linen and towels are provided. • Wifi Internet connection included SHARED SPACE GROUND FLOOR: The shared space areas include: • Entrance and hallway – This is a single door front entrance with joint hallway access to all floors. • Kitchen / Dinner / Living Space – This area is being renovated and has a fully functional kitchen that guests are welcome to use. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, cooker, shelf space and all utensils. There is a dining table that can accommodate up to 8 people • Small downstairs toilet – Sliding door from the kitchen • Yoga/TV room – It's the first room on the felt when you enter the house, it's the owner's working space but also a TV room • Garden / Decking area – There are large sliding glass doors separating the kitchen space and garden that open up directly onto a comfortable decking area and a south facing garden. Guests are more than welcome to enjoy both decking and garden OFF LIMITS AREAS: • 2nd Floor – The lodger lives on the top floor and it's a private area. • 1st Floor – Two locked rooms that are the owner's private bedrooms. SMOKING: We don't smoke in the house and we ask our guest to respect this rule, but we have a beautiful garden where you are welcome to smoke. Guest access You can use: - Shared bathroom on the 1st floor - Kitchen /dining / living area on the ground floor - Yoga room / TV on the ground floor - Decking and garden During your stay INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: Either myself (Rani) or my lodger will be available to meet and greet you at the property, hand over keys and show you to your room with all facilities. We will be available for any queries by telephone, text or email. We are happy to be of assistance answer any queries you may have prior to arrival or during your stay. ABOUT US: You will be sharing the house with me, sometime my daughter and my lovely lodger. I am a yoga teacher and the house comes with a small yoga studio where I see clients for mainly 1:1 sessions. I also have clients outside the house meaning that I can be in and out throughout the day in between clients. My lodger is very friendly and easygoing. We enjoy meeting new people, are friendly and look forward to welcoming guests into our home so they can enjoy this lovely space we have created. Other things to note We have a lovely and tiny pet rabbit named Luigi who is very friendly. We usually rent out the room while we are away, and our lodger normally takes care of Luigi during that time. However, we kindly ask our Airbnb guests if they would be willing to help look after him in the event that our lodger is unavailable.
