The space Welcome to Stony Creek Lodge, a charming 100% whole chestnut log cabin built in 1950, nestled in the scenic Pocono Mountains. This peaceful and private retreat offers stunning, unobstructed views of a trout-stocked creek from every window, all accessible from a secluded dead-end road. Perfect for nature lovers seeking tranquility and picturesque surroundings. The cabin comfortably sleeps six guests across three bedrooms—with queen beds—making it ideal for families or groups. The expansive great room features beautiful log accents, soaring ceilings, and a cozy gas fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. An oversized leather sectional provides ample seating for everyone, while the upstairs loft overlooks the main living space, offering an additional relaxing area. The dining area seats six, and the country-style kitchen accommodates two guests, both rooms overlooking the rushing creek. Equipped with full-size appliances, the kitchen makes meal preparation easy and enjoyable. Step outside onto the 40-foot concrete patio, which overlooks a half-acre lawn and the creek—perfect for outdoor entertaining. The patio includes a wood-burning outdoor fireplace, a gas grill, and seating for six, ideal for meals or relaxing evenings under the stars. Your stay includes fresh linens, dishes, cookware, and one tank of propane gas. Guests are responsible for providing bottled drinking water; the home is supplied with filtered well water. Guest access Guest will have sole access to the cabin, patio and lawn. Creekside seating is just steps from driveway. The creek is across the one land road from the home. We hope you enjoy the home as much as we do. 1) Property: The property address is provided upon booking. 2) Rental Party: The rental party shall consist of the number of total houseguests as entered. 3) Access: Guest shall allow Homeowner access to the property for repair and inspection if there is an issue during a guests stay. The homeowner shall exercise this right of access in a reasonable manner. 4) Security: There is no security on the premises. 5) Video monitoring: Exterior of home. 6) Parking: Parking is available in the front of the home. 7) Pets: $60.00 flat fee per pet. Must be clean and on tick/flea regimen. We kindly ask that pets do not lay on furniture or beds. All pet droppings must be picked up. “Guest” assumes all risks associated with their pet. 8) Included: Please refer to "Other details" for full listing. 9) Rental House Rules: a) Check in 3 p.m. b) Check out: 11 a.m. c) No Smoking permitted in the home. Discard of any cigarette butts into the trash after extinguished, do not throw in the woods, lawn, or creek. d) Guests other than those agreed upon cannot stay on the property overnight. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of the “Guest.” e) The “Homeowner” is not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur while on the premises. f) The “Homeowner” is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the houseguests. Items left behind can be returned for the cost of shipping plus $20.00. g) Report any issues or damages immediately to the property manager. h) By acceptance of this agreement, all guests assume responsibility for the risk or any harm arising from renting this property. i) Do not rearrange furniture. j) Leave used beds unmade. k) Properly wash any used dishes, pots and pans and store away. If a load is left in the dishwasher notify manager upon checkout. l) NO FIREWORKS PERMITTED. m) The water supply for this home is filtered well water. Guests must bring own drinking water. Shower water, dishwashing is fine. n) To fish - guests must obtain a PA fishing license. We can share a link to purchase day/weekly passes online. o) No large events. p) No parking on the lawn. r) Guests must bring bath towels and toiletries. s) The home is yours to enjoy! Please take care of it as you would your own.
